By doing this research, I found out what exactly narrative music videos are and I identified some. I also found out the different types of narratives that there are. This will be very useful because my group and I will be able to choose what style narrative would be more appropriate for our genre of music video and consider what the audience would expect from it.
I found out that there is more performance, choreography and action than in narrative music videos. I also found out hath they usually have a motif and locations are a very important part of the video. Performance music videos are usually used in RnB, Hip Hop and Pop. This will be very useful for my group and I because will know what to do in order to achieve a great performance music video and produce a video that the target audience would like.
This is a video of me and another media student, Wrenae, practicing lip-synching. We are doing this to make sure that we are able to do it for our real music video. In addition, we are marked on our lyp-synching skills at the end, so we need to get it on point.
